Chiropractic Care

Why does Chiropractic work? Chiropractic works because the body is self healing, regulated by the nervous system. Impulses flow from your brain, down your spinal cord, leading to nerve roots which branch off between each spinal joint. These nerves link with every cell and tissue in your body. With such close proximity to the moving bones of the spine, improper motion or position of spinal bones can irritate and compromise nerve function. Chiropractic care locates these areas and helps reduce their effect with spinal adjustments. Health often returns with restored nervous-system control of your body.

Massage Therapy

How does massage therapy work?

Massage releases chronic tension, relieves pain in muscles, improves circulation, increases flexibility in the joints and reduces mental and physical fatigue. Massage boosts the flow of energy-producing nutrients to your cells and speeds elimination of waste products that can make you feel achy. In addition, massage is one of the most effective means available to combat stress.

Renee Anderson

Massage Therapist

My story begins with me working in Physical Therapy for 22+ years in the medical/orthopedic setting, and wanting change, felt massage therapy would be a perfect transition with my experience and background and still fulfill my hearts calling to help people. Whether it be pain, stress, or motion dysfunction I use the following techniques to help resolve these issues:
Myofascial, Trigger point, deep tissue, active and passive range of motion stretches, modified cupping, Gua Sha (increase circulation only), and lymphedema (no wrapping).
I will have a consultation at the start of the session to listen to concerns and after the session offer stretches or lifestyle modifications that will be specific to your specific needs. My motto is: "Pain is inevitable... Suffering is optional"
Massage by appointment only
